We are most grateful to everyone at Laketown for including us in this years lineup and, we look forward to seeing many of our BC fans, who we never see enough of!
Hope you all have a fantastic weekend whatever you plans are. Be safe on the roads out there chums!

We are very grateful for all the support we are receiving for KS&S’s last year of shows and we will continue to book as many shows as we can across Canada to see as many of you as possible before the year is through. Have a great week everyone and we hope to have some new dates to post for you by weeks end! Photo courtesy of Greg Malo.

In celebration of 40 years of R&R we thought we’d share this wonderful photo with you taken backstage at The Pacific Coliseum in Vancouver BC, January of 1982. Streetheart was out on tour across Western Canada in support of their best selling “Streetheart” album. The boys were paid a post show visit from their friends Loverboy who were just off the road themselves and riding high on the huge success of “Get Lucky”. L/R in the back row, George Martin, (we don’t know the name of the fellow in this photo next to George), Paul Dean, Ted Ewasiuk, Daryl Gutheil, Jeff Neill and Scott Smith (RIP). In the middle, Ken “Spider” Sinnaeve, Rob Morrow (RIP), Bob Ego and Matthew Frenette. Up front Kenny Shields and Mike Reno hamming it up for the camera! Two great bands, still going strong, connected by a long history and by friendship. Great days and great memories… still being made!

This final year of Kenny Shields and Streetheart shows is off to a great start and we want to thank you all for the positive support we have been receiving night after night. It is such a privilege to be able to see you all again and we have had many requests to add repeat dates before the year is over. We will be doing all we can to accommodate as many of these requests as our schedule will allow. We want to make sure that we reach as many of our fans as possible before the year is done. We currently have a number of shows in the works that we will post here… https://www.streetheart.ca/?post_type=audiotheme_gig&year=2017 as soon as they become solid. Here’s a photo of some of our good friends at our recent show in Brandon MB courtesy of KS&S bassist Bruce Jacobs.

We want to say thank you to every single one of our great fans in Winnipeg for once again, rockin’ the house and helping us create an unforgettable night of R&R memories. This final year has been pretty special so far and Thursday night was no exception! Our thanks to Jay Pauley and his staff, the legendary Howard Mandshein for creating the perfect setting to build a rock and roll night to remember on and, to everyone of you who came by to say hi at the meet and greet after the show.

Having Streetheart alumni  Ken “Spider” Sinnaeve sit in with us was a moment for the ages and certainly one of the highlights of the year for us. Thank you Spider from sharing your good vibes and your incredible talent with us. It was a great honour for us to be able to play some music with you once again!
Hope you all have a great weekend wherever you are!
