Bruce Crump (1983-1984) RIP

After enjoying major success playing drums with Molly Hatchet in the late 70’s and early 80’s including their biggest hit, ‘Flirtin’ With Disaster’, Bruce Crump joined Streetheart in 1983.

Bruce played on Streetheart’s “Live After Dark” album that was recorded and released in early 1983. Bruce also toured with Streetheart across Canada and was a member of the band right up until the band’s breakup in 1984.

It was a very sad day  for all of us when Bruce lost his long battle with throat cancer on March 16, 2015. Bruce was always a very upbeat guy, a skilled player and a total pro.

It was a real honour to have had him in the band and his kind spirit and good nature will never be forgotten. RIP Bruce.
