Streetheart 2019.
Our sincere thanks to all of our friends and fans in Red Deer AB, Edmonton AB and throughout Alberta for a weekend of great shows and good times.
Friday night was a triple bill blast with The Headpins and Holly Woods & Toronto at the ENMAX Centrium in Red Deer AB.
Saturday in Edmonton at K-Days was over the top fun and our thanks go out to R&R friends Honeymoon Suite and Punch Drunk Cabaret who we shared the bill with.
Kudos to the production staff at both shows for all their hard work.
As always, the fans were the real stars of the show.
It was great to meet with so many of you over the two days.
Our thanks to each and every one of you for an amazing weekend!
Time to catch our breath and do it all again…

What Kind Of Love Is This…

Our sincere thanks to the always gracious, always classy, Kathy K K Kennedy and everyone at 680 CJOB for a fantastic afternoon last Friday.
Daryl Gutheil, Paul McNair and Jeff Neill had a wonderful visit catching up on all things Streetheart including the new Life. Legacy. Music album, sang a couple of classic Streetheart songs and even pulled off an impromptu version of The Beatles’ Norweigian Wood!

We thought we’d post this link to WKOLIT for anyone who might have missed the show and kudos to K K for capuring this one and Look In You Eyes, which we will post a bit later.

We also want to say thank you to everyone for all the words of support throughout K K’s live thread, it means the world to us, thank you all.
Glad some of you (Cory Churko!) even noticed the awesome R&R swag Jeff was sporting for such an auspicious occasion! 🤟
Thank you again Kathy and everyone at 680 CJOB.
Let’s do it again soon! ❤️
Have a great  weekend everyone!

What do Streetheart, Loverboy, Tom Cochrane, KIM MITCHELL, Helix The Band and a tour bus load of other recording artists have in common? They’ve all had this guy play bass on their records!
Happy Birthday today to Ken ‘Spider’ Sinnaeve. As a founding member of Streetheart, Spider has been a major contributor as a songwriter and musical force throughout the bands career and is considered by many of his peers to be the best of the best.
We have been honoured to have had Spider back for a number of shows this year and his presence has been key to our successful return.
We look forward to playing as many shows as we can work into his busy schedule as we move into 2019!
Happy Birthday Ken!
Wishing you and all your family the very best throughout 2019 and beyond.

Sending out our very best thoughts today to the entire community of Humboldt SK.
Today marks the first anniversary of the April 6, 2018 Humboldt Broncos bus crash.
It’s a year in which families have lived through difficult firsts.
The first birthday since the crash.
A first Thanksgiving.
A first Christmas.
Many of the parents of the victims have been friends and fans of ours since day one and the spirit and strength shown by the Humboldt community over the past year epitomizes so much of what we cherish as Canadians.
Today we honour the memory of the young men and women lost in this terrible tragedy.
We hope you will take a moment to say a prayer for dear friends and family members gone far too soon.
Much love to the entire community of Humboldt SK. 🙏

We are also most grateful that Universal Music Canada will be including the bonus track ‘Nature’s Way’ as part of the LLM set.
‘Nature’s Way’ is the last vocal performance from the late, great Kenny Shields and this song was featured at our recent shows across Western Canada in a video tribute to Kenny’s life and career.
Here is a link to that video in case you haven’t had an opportunity yet to see it yet…

Streetheart 2019.
We are so sad to hear about the passing of one of our dear friends and road brothers in arms, Ilmars Kuras.
Ilmars was with Streetheart during the early 80’s and he was much loved by everyone for his laid back attitude and big laugh. Always a great guy on the road he was one of the kindest people you could know.
He truly was a gentle giant with an even bigger heart.
We know he will be missed by many within the Winnipeg music community who knew him and who worked with him over the years.
Our sincere condolences go out to all of Ilmars’ family and loved ones.
A photo from younger days…
Till we meet again Ilmars. xo

Streetheart 2019.
Today we are pleased to announce that Dave Langguth will be performing with Streetheart in 2019.
Dave is one of Canada’s premiere rock drummers and anyone who has seen Dave play with Kim Mitchell in recent years can attest to that.
Dave is an exceptionally skilled, diverse and powerful player and his list of playing credits along with Kim Mitchell include Nelly Furtado, Sass Jordan, Alannah Myles and Rik Emmett.
Dave is also an experienced drum clinician and instructor when he’s not on the road touring.
We feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to add such a high quality player to our lineup and we look forward to all that Dave will bring to the Streetheart live shows.
Along with Streetheart founding member Ken “Spider” Sinnaeve on bass, Dave Langguth gives Streetheart an explosive one two punch that we look forward to sharing with you all soon.
For any of you who may be unfamiliar with Dave’s playing, here is a little sample of DL at work for you…
